Your Trusted Senior Care Advocate In Colorado Springs

About In Good Hands

When you’re navigating the complex, emotional world of senior care, it helps to have someone in your corner who tells the truth, knows the local resources, and never has a hidden financial stake in the outcome. That’s what we’re here for.

Many families reach out to In Good Hands feeling overwhelmed, comparing assisted living facilities, protecting hard earned assets, and juggling medical appointments on top of everything else. Backed by a partnership with Hammond Law Group, we’re able to bring legal guidance and services into that same conversation, so you’re not piecing together advice from separate strangers.

Senior Care Advocate. Daughter.

Meet Amber

Hi, I’m Amber, the founder and lead care specialist at In Good Hands. This work is personal for me.

I’ve been the daughter desperately Googling senior care options at midnight. For nearly 10 years, I’ve worked directly with older adults and their families in independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities, guiding them through tough decisions, identifying real needs, and connecting them with the right resources so they receive quality care.

I’ve also worked closely with families caring for a loved one living with cognitive challenges. I understand how isolating, emotional, and overwhelming that role can feel, especially when you’re trying to make the right decisions about medical care while juggling everything else. That understanding is what led me to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and pursue training in geriatric care management, so I could better support families facing the realities and complexities of cognitive change with empathy, clarity, and practical guidance.

Along the way, I’ve worked alongside social workers, coordinated with hospitals to help reduce hospital readmissions, and paid careful attention to the warning signs that families and nursing home residents often miss. I’ve mediated when families didn’t see eye to eye and helped older adults themselves handle the physical and emotional challenges of transition. I’ve seen firsthand how fragmented, frustrating, and emotional the care journey can be.

That’s why I started In Good Hands: to bridge the gap between families and the support they actually need. I bring expertise, professional experience, and a deep sense of compassion to every call, visit, and plan, no matter if you’re local to Colorado Springs or hundreds of miles away from the family you love. When you work with me, you’re not getting a sales pitch. You’re getting a partner.
